Branca/Lina is a superficial person. I can tell that because in all her comics she is always concerned about her look. She always point out how her breast is big, how her legs are beautiful, how her bottom is gorgeous.
But she also knows she is fat. But instead of let it be and ejoy life, she wants everybody to tell her she's not or that she is cute anyway. She also think that slim people are (or should be) jealous of her.
So here's my interpretation of the original comic by Branca.

As seen in her own comic, Branca dosen't want to show a opinion. She's jus shoving her bigotry on poeple's faces. :/ An' you should respect Fernet, for she said only the truth.

Ah, maybe the anonymous commenter above should learn that Fernet is not making fun of Branca for being fat or Brazilian, but rather making fun of her for being a giggling, obnoxious idiot who is completely full of herself and likes to believe that a fictitious British rock star would rather marry some loser fangirl than someone of actual merit to society and also believes that random acts of violence against her husband and his friends equals a sweet, kind and innocent woman. Thank you ever so much, bye now.
